Petitioners have filed the present writ petition under<\/p>\n<p>                 Article 226 of the      Constitution of India for the reliefs<\/p>\n<p>                 delineated in paragraph 1 of the writ petition which are quoted<\/p>\n<p>                 herein below:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>                          &#8220;That this writ application is being filed for<br \/>\n                           issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of<br \/>\n                           mandamus or any other appropriate, writ,<br \/>\n                           order or direction commanding the<br \/>\n                           respondents no.2 to 4 to take appropriate<br \/>\n                           action against respondent no.6 on the basis of<br \/>\n                           Enquiry report submitted by Respondent no.5<br \/>\n                           with regard to illegality and irregularities<br \/>\n                           committed in distribution of flood relief<br \/>\n                           materials among the flood affected people of<br \/>\n                           Reghunathpur Donma Panchayat.&#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>                  3.          Learned counsel for the respondents submits that a<\/p>\n<p>                  first information report has been lodged against respondent<\/p>\n<p>                  no.6 for the irregularities committed by him. The grievance of<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>           the petitioners is that despite lodging the first information<\/p>\n<p>           report, no further action is being taken by the authorities<\/p>\n<p>           concerned and despite lapses of several years respondent no.6<\/p>\n<p>           has not been arrested till date.\n<\/p>\n<p>           This court is of the considered opinion that the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>           must approach        respondent no.3, the District Magistrate,<\/p>\n<p>           Muzaffarpur for redressal of his grievances. If the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>           file a representation before the respondent District Magistrate,<\/p>\n<p>           within a period of four weeks from today, then he shall be<\/p>\n<p>           obliged to consider the grievances and take all possible legal<\/p>\n<p>           action in this matter after giving opportunity of hearing to all<\/p>\n<p>           concerned.\n<\/p>\n<p>          5.            It goes without saying that if the petitioners do not<\/p>\n<p>          file such representation within the time prescribed by this<\/p>\n<p>          Court, then it shall be construed that the present writ petition<\/p>\n<p>          has finally been rejected by this Court.<\/p>\n<p>          6.
