Respondents.\n\n\nFor Petitioner : Ms.Radha Gopalan\n\nFor Respondents: Mr.S.Gomathi Nayagam\n                Spl.G.P\n\n\nPRAYER:  Petition filed under  Article  226  of  the  Constitution  of  India,\npraying for a writ of mandamus and for the reliefs as stated therein.\n\n:O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>        Admit.   Learned  Special  Government  Pleader  takes  notice  for the<br \/>\nrespondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>        2.  The petitioner has approached  this  Court  to  issue  a  writ  of<br \/>\nMandamus  directing  the respondents to accept tax for every 7 days or 30 days<br \/>\nor 90 days in one lump sum and not to insist upon payment of  1\/10th  rate  of<br \/>\ntax, whenever the petitioner&#8217;s vehicle KL-07-AS 908 enters Tamilnadu.\n<\/p>\n<p>        3.   In  earlier  writ  petitions, similar relief as prayed for in the<br \/>\npresent writ petition has been granted in favour of the petitioners  in  those<br \/>\nwrit petitions.    Therefore, this writ petition is also ordered directing the<br \/>\nrespondents to receive tax, when it is tendered by the petitioner  in  advance<br \/>\nfor  7  days  or  30  days  or  90  days  in  respect  of  the vehicle bearing<br \/>\nregistration No.KL-07-AS 908.\n<\/p>\n<p>        4.  With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed  of.    No<br \/>\ncosts.\n<\/p>\n<p>csh<\/p>\n<p>To<\/p>\n<p>1.  The State Transport Authority<br \/>\nChennai 600 005.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.
