BASANT, J.\n\n            ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n                 W.P.(C) No. 6160 OF 2008 G\n            ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n          Dated this the 21st day of February, 2008\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>            The petitioner&#8217;s husband allegedly met with his<\/p>\n<p>death under unnatural and suspicious circumstances. The<\/p>\n<p>police have registered a crime and the investigation is in<\/p>\n<p>progress. The petitioner appears to be dissatisfied with the<\/p>\n<p>quality of investigation undertaken by the investigating officer.<\/p>\n<p>She has, hence, come before this Court with the grievance<\/p>\n<p>that investigation is not being conducted properly. She prays<\/p>\n<p>that appropriate direction may be issued to ensure a proper<\/p>\n<p>investigation.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.    The learned counsel for the petitioner was<\/p>\n<p>requested to explain how in the light of the decision in Sakri<\/p>\n<p>Vasu Vs. State of U.P. [ 2008 AIR SCW 309] the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>can in the circumstances seek directions under Article 226 of<\/p>\n<p>the Constitution from this Court. A person dissatisfied with<\/p>\n<p>WPC.6160\/08<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>the investigation must exhaust his alternative remedies<\/p>\n<p>available under the Code of Criminal Procedure before<\/p>\n<p>coming this Court with a petition under section 482 Cr.P.C. or<\/p>\n<p>under Article 226 of the Constitution. That position of law is<\/p>\n<p>well settled in the decision in Sakri Vasu.<\/p>\n<p>     3.    In the light of the decision in Sakri Vasu, there is<\/p>\n<p>no justification or necessity to invoke the powers under Article<\/p>\n<p>226 of the Constitution at this stage. The petitioner must seek<\/p>\n<p>appropriate directions from the Magistrate or raise his<\/p>\n<p>objections against the final report filed.<\/p>\n<p>     4.
