Admittedly, father of the<br \/>\nappellant was discharged from the services  and such discharge does<br \/>\nnot fit in the scheme of compassionate appointment, because<br \/>\ncompassionate employment is granted only when the father of the<br \/>\napplicant dies in harness.   Since that contingency was not present,<br \/>\nit cannot be said that the reasons given by the learned Single Judge<br \/>\nare immediately erroneous and in that view of the matter, the appeal<br \/>\nhas no merits.
