Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition. \n\t\t\t\t\n\n\tFor petitioner         :  Mr.R.Singaravelan\n\t\t\n\tFor respondent       :  Mr.S.Sivashanmugam\n\t\t\t     Government Advocate.\n\n                            -----                           \n\n\n\n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tOriginal Application No.7446 of 1999 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench praying  to call for the records of the respondent in his proceedings No.25232\/99\/A2 dated 30.11.99 and quash the same.  Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2.  Petitioner, an Assistant working in the office of the Director of Town Panchayat was reverted to the post of Sanitary Supervisor by the impugned proceedings.  Challenging the same he filed the Original Application in the year 1999 stating that the same has been passed without giving proper opportunity and without  notice.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3.  No reply affidavit has been filed  by the respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4.  The only contention raised by the petitioner is with regard to violation of principles of natural justice stating that  the order of reversion has been passed without giving the petitioner an opportunity to rebut the department proceedings.  Admittedly without any show cause notice the impugned proceedings has been passed.  Only on the ground of violation of principles of natural justice, the impugned proceedings is set aside.  The Writ Petition is allowed as prayed for.
