I would like to draw the attention of the Central Government regarding the request for CBI inquiry on the murder of Comrade Sushanta Sengupta, Vice-President of our Party in Jharkhand. <\/p>\n<p>On 5th October, 2002, Comrade Sushanta Sengupta, Comrade D.D. Paul and Comrade Sanjay Sengupta were shot dead with AK-47 rifles on the national highway near Nirsha Police Station in the District of Dhanbad, Jharkhand. In this connection, we met hon. Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Babulal Mirandi, on 11.11.2002 to request him to recommend CBI inquiry on this matter.. The Chief Minister had publicly assured us that he would recommend for the CBI inquiry.
