Justice C.T.RAVIKUMAR\n\n Dated :23\/03\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                          C.T.RAVIKUMAR, J.\n\n              ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n                      W.P.(C) No. 9588 of 2010 W\n              ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n                Dated this the 23rd day of March, 2010\n\n                             J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>             The     petitioner      is   a     Band      Constable    in the<\/p>\n<p>Thiruvananthapuram City Armed Reserve Camp. The grievance<\/p>\n<p>of the petitioner pertains to the fixation of his pay after granting the<\/p>\n<p>3rd Higher Grade promotion. Raising grievances against the said<\/p>\n<p>fixation, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P7 representation before<\/p>\n<p>the 3rd respondent.       The grievance of the petitioner is that on<\/p>\n<p>completion of 23 years of service, his pay was fixed in a wrong<\/p>\n<p>scale after granting the 3rd Time Bound Higher Grade.<\/p>\n<p>      2.     According to the petitioner, his pay was fixed in the<\/p>\n<p>scale of pay of Rs.9,190 &#8211; 15,510\/- instead of fixing in the scale of<\/p>\n<p>pay of Rs.10790 &#8211; 18000, the scale of pay to which he is entitled.<\/p>\n<p>This is a matter which requires consideration by the 3rd respondent<\/p>\n<p>and in fact, the petitioner has already approached the 3rd<\/p>\n<p>respondent     raising such grievances as per Ext.P7.                  The 3rd<\/p>\n<p>respondent is bound to look into the claim and contentions raised<\/p>\n<p>by the petitioner in Ext.P7.
