The Applicant filed his RTI request on 24.12.08 seeking information related to the<br \/>\n      service of the Applicant who retired as a Cabin man on 28.02.08 from the office of<br \/>\n      S.S. Rohtak, Northern Railway, Delhi including       copy of Service Book, details of<br \/>\n      overtime work done and any proceedings taken on Application of the Applicant dated<br \/>\n      15.11.07 with regard to payment of overtime wages etc. against 3 points. The PIO<br \/>\n      replied on 16.01.09 providing point wise information. Not satisfied with the reply, the<br \/>\n      Applicant filed his First Appeal stating that he has not received any information as<br \/>\n      requested from the PIO in the PIO&#8217;s       letter dated 16.01.09. The   PIO in his reply<br \/>\n      requested for   Rs.30\/- for the information and added that the application dated<br \/>\n      15.11.07 has not been received in their office . On not receiving any reply from the<br \/>\n      Appellate Authority, the Applicant filed his Second appeal before the Commission<br \/>\n      stating that he has not received any information from the PIO till date and requesting<br \/>\n      for the information as sought by him.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.    The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner scheduled the<br \/>\n      hearing on 18th December, 2009.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.    Mr. Mohar Singh, Sr.D.M.M &amp; PIO, Mrs.Achla Sinha, LTM &amp; Appellate Authority, Mrs.<br \/>\n      Seema V. Verma, APO\/Legal &amp; Nodal Officer, Mr.D.B. Malik, CDMS and Mrs.Kaushlaya,<br \/>\n      OS-II represented the Public Authority.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.    The Applicant was present during the hearing.\n<\/p>\n<p>Decision<\/p>\n<p>5.    The Appellant complained about not having been paid his overtime dues. The<br \/>\n      Respondent submitted that with regard to point 3 in the letter dated 09.03.09 the<br \/>\n      Appellate Authority had requested the Appellant to send the duplicate OT claim as<br \/>\n      requested which has still not been provided by the Appellant for further necessary<br \/>\n      action. The Respondent also added that he had filed his claim with regard to point 3,<br \/>\n      with SS Rohtak which seems have been lost and hence the Applicant has not received<br \/>\n      the payment. The Applicant was informed by the APIO to provide a set of duplicate<br \/>\n      claims for OT wages and assured him that the same would be settled as per rules after<br \/>\n      examining the claims, within 2 months i.e. by end February,2010. The Appellant was<br \/>\n        also informed that till retirement he had drawn OT payment for the period 9.2.03 to<br \/>\n       28.2.08 ie. till retirement an amount of Rs 1,29,230\/- and that the Public Authority<br \/>\n       has not received any orders regarding arrears of OT payments.\n<\/p>\n<p>6.
