SIRI JAGAN, J.\n\n                        -------------------------------\n\n                         W.P.(C)NO.8408 OF 2007\n\n                       ---------------------------------\n\n             DATED THIS THE 27th DAY OF JUNE, 2007\n\n\n\n\n                                    JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioner has been accepted as a freedom fighter entitled to<\/p>\n<p>payment   of   pension   under   the   Swatantra   Sainik   Samman   Pension.\n<\/p>\n<p>However,   the   pension   is   not   being   disbursed   to   the   petitioner   is   the<\/p>\n<p>complaint in this writ petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.     The   learned   Central   Government   Counsel   on   instructions<\/p>\n<p>submits  that  although the  petitioner   has  provided  details  of  his  bank<\/p>\n<p>account for disbursement of pension, the said Bank is not authorised<\/p>\n<p>to disburse pension on behalf of the Government of India.  The learned<\/p>\n<p>counsel submits that if the petitioner gives details of an account in any<\/p>\n<p>of   the     banks,   a   list   of   which   have   already   been   supplied   to   the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, the pension would be disbursed immediately.\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.     Accordingly,   I   direct   the   petitioner   to   open   an   account   in<\/p>\n<p>any of the banks mentioned in the list supplied to the petitioner  and<\/p>\n<p>inform the details of the said account to the 2nd respondent, on receipt<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(c)No.8408\/2007                  2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>of which, the 2nd  respondent shall disburse  the pension due to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner forth with.\n<\/p>\n<p>       The writ petition is disposed of as above.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                           S.
