They were formerly deployed to the Local<\/p>\n<p>Self  Government     Department           pursuant  to  Ext.P1<\/p>\n<p>Government Order dated 4.7.2000. They have since been<\/p>\n<p>repatriated to the parent department, after serving for 3<\/p>\n<p>to 4= years. The grievance voiced by the petitioners is<\/p>\n<p>that in view of       G.O.(Rt).No.1578\/08\/LSGD          dated<\/p>\n<p>29.5.2008, steps are being taken to again deploy them to<\/p>\n<p>the Local Self Government Department. Aggrieved by the<\/p>\n<p>proposal to deploy them,           the petitioners have filed<\/p>\n<p>Exts.P8 and P9 representations before the Secretary to<\/p>\n<p>Government, Agriculture Department, praying that they<\/p>\n<p>may not be deployed to the Local Self Government<\/p>\n<p>Department again. Thereafter, this writ petition was filed<\/p>\n<p>seeking the following reliefs:-\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>       (i). Issue a writ of mandamus or any other<\/p>\n<p>       appropriate    writ,     order      or  direction<\/p>\n<p>       commanding the respondents not to deploy<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).23213\/2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                             2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>        the petitioners again to the service under<\/p>\n<p>        the second respondent.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>        (ii). Issue a writ of mandamus or any<\/p>\n<p>        other appropriate writ, order or direction<\/p>\n<p>        commanding the 1st and 2nd respondents<\/p>\n<p>        to consider and dispose of Exts.P9 and P8<\/p>\n<p>        representations respectively, forthwith.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>2.    When the writ petition came up for admission<\/p>\n<p>today,     Smt.M.R.Sreelatha, the learned Government<\/p>\n<p>Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions<\/p>\n<p>given by the fifth respondent, submitted that at present<\/p>\n<p>there is no proposal to deploy the petitioners to the<\/p>\n<p>Local Self Government Department. In view of the said<\/p>\n<p>submission, the petitioners cannot have any grievance at<\/p>\n<p>present.
