Information Sought                                  PIO's Reply\n1    Provide the necessary details about the Your PPO was not received till then.\n     payment asked for on 25.05.2010.\n2    Furnish me with proof as to why there is no On 24.06.2010 Hauz Khas branch obtained a copy\n<\/pre>\n<p>     action taken\/payment made on my PPO of your PPO and your pension was been paid on<br \/>\n     684471001302 dated 22.4.2010.                 29.06.2010<br \/>\n3    What is the time taken for the payment to be After receiving the PPO from the Nodal<br \/>\n     transferred to the bank account once the PPO branch(Janpath), the bank informs the pensioner<br \/>\n     is received?                                  about it and after the pensioner signs the required<br \/>\n                                                   documents, the payment is paid within one or two<br \/>\n                                                   days.\n<\/p>\n<p>4    Who is responsible for the delay of the Till now the reason as to why the payment wasn&#8217;t<br \/>\n     payment and provide details of the necessary made was because your PPO wasn&#8217;t received by the<br \/>\n     actions that can be taken in this regard?     bank. Thus your question has been<br \/>\n                                                   answered.\n<\/p>\n<p>5    Who will bear the compensation to be As Above.\n<\/p>\n<p>     provided for the delay ?\n<\/p>\n<p>Grounds for First appeal:\n<\/p>\n<p>Dissatisfied with the reply of the PIO.\n<\/p>\n<p>The First Appellant Authority&#8217;s Order:\n<\/p>\n<p>Information has already been provided by the PIO.<br \/>\n Grounds For Second Appeal:\n<\/p>\n<p>Dissatisfied with the reply of the FAA.\n<\/p>\n<p>Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:<br \/>\nThe following were present:\n<\/p>\n<p>Appellant: Mr. Gopal;\n<\/p>\n<p>Respondent: Mr. Sulakhan Singh, PIO &amp; DGM and Ms. Rajani, Manager (Law);\n<\/p>\n<p>       The Appellant has been provided information available on the records. The Appellant has a<br \/>\ngrievance since his PPO appears to have been misplaced by the courier agent. The PIO states that a<br \/>\nduplicate was called on receipt of the Appellant&#8217;s letter and the pension was released after receipt of<br \/>\nthe PPO. It appears that the PPO was sent by the Nodal Branch to the Concerned Branch but was not<br \/>\nreceived. The Appellant was naturally aggrieved by the delay in getting his pension.
