S.J.MUKHOPADHAYA)<\/p>\n<p>\tThe<br \/>\nappellant, an Engineer, is the husband of the first respondent. He is<br \/>\nalso a father of a son.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tThe<br \/>\nlearned Judge, Family Court No.2, Ahmedabad, passed order more than<br \/>\none and a half years back under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act<br \/>\nto pay maintenance in favour of the wife (Rs.10,000=00 per month) and<br \/>\nhis son (Rs.5,000=00 per month). For about one and a half years the<br \/>\namount was not paid and the total amount came to about Rs.4 lakhs. He<br \/>\neven did not show his willingness to pay even half of the arrears<br \/>\ni.e. about Rs.2 lakhs. Taking into consideration the attitude of the<br \/>\nappellant-husband, who is an Engineer, the learned Judge, Family<br \/>\nCourt, refused to grant any further relief, which was also affirmed<br \/>\nby the learned Single Judge.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tWe<br \/>\nheard learned counsel for the parties. We find no ground to interfere<br \/>\nwith the said order. The Letters Patent Appeal and the Civil<br \/>\nApplication are dismissed.
