Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :05\/11\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                   ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n            = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n              W.P.(C) No. 32765 OF 2007 A\n            = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n           Dated this the 5th November, 2007\n\n                    J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>    In relation to assessment years 1999-2000, 2000-01<\/p>\n<p>and 2001-02, penal interest has been imposed on the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner.    Though the petitioner has not produced<\/p>\n<p>the order imposing penal interest, Exts. P4 to P6 are<\/p>\n<p>notices of demand.  Aggrieved by the orders, petitioner<\/p>\n<p>submits that he has filed Exts. P1 to P3 appeals which<\/p>\n<p>are pending before the 1st respondent.  In view of the<\/p>\n<p>coercive action taken against the petitioner this writ<\/p>\n<p>petition has been filed for expeditious disposal of<\/p>\n<p>Exts. P1 to P3 appeals and keeping in abeyance further<\/p>\n<p>proceedings for recovery of the amounts in terms of<\/p>\n<p>Exts. P4 to P6.\n<\/p>\n<p>    2.   Now  that   Exts.   P1  to   P3  are   pending<\/p>\n<p>consideration of the 1st respondent, I dispose of this<\/p>\n<p>writ petition directing that the said respondent shall<\/p>\n<p>consider and dispose of Exts. P1 to P3 as expeditiously<\/p>\n<p>as possible, and at any rate within 8 weeks of receipt<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC No. 32765\/07            -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>of a copy of this judgment.    In the meanwhile further<\/p>\n<p>proceedings     pursuant to Exts.
