Goel, Advocate for the petitioner.\n                        ****\nHARBANS LAL, J.\n<\/pre>\n<p>            Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced a photostat<\/p>\n<p>copy of the statement recorded under Section 18(1) of the Industrial<\/p>\n<p>Disputes Act, 1947 entered into between the present petitioner and the<\/p>\n<p>respondent- workman Ved Parkash which reads in the following terms:-<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>                  In the light of the Hon&#8217;ble Labour Court Rohtak award<\/p>\n<p>            dated 07.12.92 in the case of Shri Ved Parkash s\/o Sh. Resham<\/p>\n<p>            Lal r\/o V.P.O. Radaur Tehsil Jagadhri Distt. Yamunanagar v\/s<\/p>\n<p>            Central Coop. Bank Ltd; Karnal a mutual agreement without<\/p>\n<p>            any fear and the Bank Management through its Managing<\/p>\n<p>            Director on the following terms and conditions:-<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>            1.    Both the parties are agreed to withdraw the cases filed<\/p>\n<p>                  by them in various courts with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>            2.    That the workman will be appointed as Secretary on<\/p>\n<p>                  regular basis under Common Cadre Rules\/ Govt.<\/p>\n<p>                  instructions.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>            3.    That the workman is agreed to forgo the Back-wages\/<\/p>\n<p>                  arrear.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\"> C.W.P. No.2098 of 1993                                  -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>             4.    That the bank will give to the workman all service<\/p>\n<p>                   benefits except back wages\/ arrears under the bank rules\/<\/p>\n<p>                   award dated 07.12.92 of Hon&#8217;ble Labour Court\/ Govt.<\/p>\n<p>                   instructions.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>                   The workman will not raise any dispute regarding back<\/p>\n<p>            wages in future.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>                   The settlement will come into force with immediate<\/p>\n<p>            effect.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>            Learned counsel for the petitioner has also produced the<\/p>\n<p>photostat copy of appointment letter bearing No.Estt.\/98-99\/16183 dated<\/p>\n<p>23.12.1997 revealing the appointment of the workman- Ved Parkash as<\/p>\n<p>Secretary with reference to the agreement referred to above.<\/p>\n<p>            In view of the above agreement as well as the appointment<\/p>\n<p>letter issued in favour of the respondent- workman, this petition is disposed<\/p>\n<p>of.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<pre>November 06, 2008                                 ( HARBANS LAL )\nrenu                                                   JUDGE\n <\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Punjab-Haryana High Court The Karnal Central Cooperative &#8230; vs State Of Haryana And Others on 6 November, 2008 C.W.P.
