We\u00a0heard\u00a0this\u00a0case\u00a0through\u00a0videoconferencing.\u00a0The\u00a0Appellant\u00a0was\u00a0not\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>present\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Lucknow\u00a0studio\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0NIC.\u00a0The\u00a0Respondent\u00a0was\u00a0present\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jabalpur\u00a0studio.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>3.      We \u00a0 heard \u00a0 the \u00a0 submissions \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 Respondent. \u00a0 The \u00a0 Appellant \u00a0 had\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>requested\u00a0for\u00a0several\u00a0information\u00a0regarding\u00a0the\u00a0PAF\u00a0rating\u00a0given\u00a0to\u00a0MMG\u00a0Scale\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>III\u00a0officers\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Jabalpur\u00a0Circle\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0bank.\u00a0The\u00a0CPIO\u00a0had\u00a0refused\u00a0to\u00a0disclose\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>this\u00a0information\u00a0by\u00a0claiming\u00a0it\u00a0to\u00a0be\u00a0third\u00adparty\u00a0personal\u00a0information.\u00a0He\u00a0had\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>cited\u00a0the\u00a0provisions\u00a0of\u00a0Section\u00a08(1)\u00a0(j)\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Right\u00a0to\u00a0Information\u00a0(RTI)\u00a0Act\u00a0in\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>support \u00a0 of \u00a0 his \u00a0 decision. \u00a0 The \u00a0 Appellate \u00a0 Authority \u00a0 had \u00a0 provided \u00a0 some \u00a0 more\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>information\u00a0against\u00a0some\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0queries\u00a0while\u00a0endorsing\u00a0the\u00a0decision\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CPIO\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0matter\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0nondisclosure\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0PAF\u00a0ratings\u00a0of\u00a0other\u00a0officers.<\/p>\n<p>4.      We\u00a0carefully\u00a0considered\u00a0the\u00a0submissions\u00a0made\u00a0by\u00a0the\u00a0Respondent\u00a0as\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>well \u00a0 as \u00a0 the \u00a0 facts \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 case. \u00a0 We \u00a0 noted \u00a0 that \u00a0 between \u00a0 the \u00a0 CPIO \u00a0 and \u00a0 the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Appellate\u00a0Authority,\u00a0all\u00a0the\u00a0information\u00a0that\u00a0could\u00a0have\u00a0been\u00a0given\u00a0has\u00a0already\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>been \u00a0 provided. \u00a0 The \u00a0 information \u00a0 regarding \u00a0 the \u00a0 PAF \u00a0 ratings \u00a0 given \u00a0 to \u00a0 other\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>officers \u00a0 including \u00a0 the \u00a0 copies \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 evaluation \u00a0 sheets \u00a0 could \u00a0 not \u00a0 have \u00a0 been\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>disclosed \u00a0 since \u00a0 the \u00a0 disclosure \u00a0 of \u00a0 such \u00a0 information, \u00a0 clearly \u00a0 in \u00a0 the \u00a0 nature \u00a0 of\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>personal\u00a0information,\u00a0could\u00a0cause\u00a0unwarranted\u00a0invasion\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0privacy\u00a0of\u00a0those\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>officers.\u00a0Thus,\u00a0the\u00a0decision\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0and\u00a0Appellate\u00a0Authority\u00a0is\u00a0right\u00a0and\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>cannot\u00a0be\u00a0faulted<\/p>\n<p>5.      There \u00a0 is \u00a0 nothing \u00a0 more \u00a0 to \u00a0 be \u00a0 done \u00a0 in \u00a0 this \u00a0 case. \u00a0 It \u00a0 is \u00a0 disposed \u00a0 of\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>accordingly.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>6.
