Justice V.GIRI\n\n Dated :13\/10\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                        V.GIRI, J\n                      -------------------\n                  W.P.(C).28244\/2008\n                     --------------------\n       Dated this the 13th day of October, 2008\n\n                      JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     Learned counsel for the respondents submits that<\/p>\n<p>subsequently orders have been passed conveying<\/p>\n<p>sanction for payment of the Freedom Fighters&#8217; pension<\/p>\n<p>to the petitioner under the account of her husband late<\/p>\n<p>Raman Nair with effect from 6.8.1999, the date of<\/p>\n<p>application. The relevant portion of the communication<\/p>\n<p>issued in this regard reads as follows:-<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>             In compliance of Court order dated<\/p>\n<p>       22.5.2008      in      Contempt        Petition<\/p>\n<p>       No.212\/2008 and in partial modification<\/p>\n<p>       of    this  Ministry&#8217;s        Sanction   order<\/p>\n<p>       No.52\/CC\/K\/123\/2006-FF(SZ)              dated<\/p>\n<p>       22.4.2008, I am directed to convey the<\/p>\n<p>       sanction of the President for antedating<\/p>\n<p>       the pension w.e.f.6.8.1999, ie, Life time<\/p>\n<p>       arrears    of     Samman          pension    to<\/p>\n<p>       Smt.N.Kausalya       in     respect   of   her<\/p>\n<p>       husband late Vandichalil Raman Nair for<\/p>\n<p>       the period from 6.8.1999 to 23.8.2000 @<\/p>\n<p>       Rs.3000\/- (Rupees Three thousand only)<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C).28244\/2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                              2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>        plus Dearness Relief at the rates admissible<\/p>\n<p>        and dependent family pension @ Rs.3000\/-<\/p>\n<p>        (Rupees Three thousand only) per month<\/p>\n<p>        plus Dearness Relief at the rates admissible<\/p>\n<p>        from time to time from 24.8.2000 onwards<\/p>\n<p>        to Smt.N.Kausalya, w\/o late Vandichalil<\/p>\n<p>        Raman      Nair,  Thekkayil   Kunnumbram<\/p>\n<p>        House, Elayavoor P.O. Mundayad, Kannur<\/p>\n<p>        District-670 597, Kerala<\/p>\n<p>               The other terms and conditions of the<\/p>\n<p>        said sanction order will remain unchanged.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>               The payment may be made through<\/p>\n<p>        Saving Bank Account No.67009302915 of<\/p>\n<p>        State    Bank   of   Travancore,   Thottada<\/p>\n<p>        Branch, Kerala.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>               This issues with the approval of the<\/p>\n<p>        competent authority.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>     In the circumstances no further directions are<\/p>\n<p>required in this writ petition.
