No.7808 of 2011\n                                 RAM BIHARI SINGH\n                                          Versus\n                               THE STATE OF BIHAR\n                                        -----------\n<\/pre>\n<p>3   20.06.2011                Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well<\/p>\n<p>                 as learned counsel for the state.\n<\/p>\n<p>                              The petitioner is languishing in jail custody since<\/p>\n<p>                 22.08.2010 on the allegation that he demanded extortion<\/p>\n<p>                 money from the informant and when his demand was not<\/p>\n<p>                 fulfilled, he gave one dagger blow on the chest of the<\/p>\n<p>                 informant.\n<\/p>\n<p>                              The original injury report reveals that opinion<\/p>\n<p>                 regarding the nature of injury had been kept reserved.<\/p>\n<p>                 Furthermore, the above-said injury report reveals that the<\/p>\n<p>                 informant received one injury on his chest.<\/p>\n<p>                              Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that<\/p>\n<p>                 uptill now, no X-ray report has been placed before the I.O.<\/p>\n<p>                 and the investigation has already been completed. It is<\/p>\n<p>                 further pointed out by him that earlier only two cases were<\/p>\n<p>                 instituted against the petitioner but the aforesaid cases were<\/p>\n<p>                 not for the offence of extortion.\n<\/p>\n<p>                              Considering     the     aforesaid    facts     and<\/p>\n<p>                 circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, the<\/p>\n<p>                 petitioner, namely, Ram Bihari Singh be released on bail on<\/p>\n<p>                 furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000\/- (ten thousand) with two<\/p>\n<p>                 sureties of the like amount each in connection with Barhara<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                            2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>        (Sinha) P.S.
