Justice K.HEMA\n\n Dated :24\/06\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                            K.HEMA, J.\n                   -------------------------------------------\n                         B.A.No.3974 of 2008\n                  -------------------------------------------\n              Dated this the 24th day of June, 2008\n\n\n\n                                  ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>     This petition is for bail.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2.    The alleged offence is under Section 13 and 55(i) of<\/p>\n<p>Kerala Abkari Act. The article involved is 15.75 litres of Indian<\/p>\n<p>made foreign liquor. The petitioner was arrested on 25.5.2008<\/p>\n<p>and he is in custody since then.\n<\/p>\n<p>     3.    This is the second application for bail. Learned public<\/p>\n<p>prosecutor submitted that he has no objection in granting bail on<\/p>\n<p>conditions.\n<\/p>\n<p>     Hence, bail is granted to the petitioner on the following<\/p>\n<p>terms and conditions:\n<\/p>\n<p>     (i)   Petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.25,000\/- with<\/p>\n<p>two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of<\/p>\n<p>the Magistrate Court, concerned.<\/p>\n<p>     (ii)  Petitioner shall report before the Investigating Officer<\/p>\n<p>on every Monday and Thursday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. until<\/p>\n<p>further orders.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">BA No.3974\/08                      2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>    (iii) In case, the petitioner is involved in offence of similar<\/p>\n<p>nature while on bail, bail is liable to be cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>    The petition is allowed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                   K.HEMA, JUDGE<br \/>\ncsl<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court Manoharan Pillai vs State Of Kerala on 24 June, 2008 IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM Bail Appl..No. 3974 of 2008() 1.
