Respondent\n\n\tThis writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondent from demanding water charges from the members of the petitioner association owning shops\/offices in the basement and ground floor premises bearing door No.14, Khader Nawaz Khan Road, Chennai-6. \n\t\t\tFor petitioner  : Mr.B.S.Jhothiraman\n\t\t\tFor respondents : Mr.V.Manoharan \n\t\t\t\t\t\t   Government Advocate\t\t     \n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mr.B.S.Jhothiraman, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Manoharan, the learned Government Advocate\tappearing for the respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. It is submitted that the main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent is demanding the payment of Rs.7,65,709\/- as the amount of arrears outstanding and payable by the petitioner to the respondent as water charges.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. At the stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents, had submitted that the petitioner Association had paid the entire amount due and therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. Based on the above submissions, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, if there is any further grievance to be redressed, it is left open to the petitioner to agitate the same in a manner known to law.
