Singh, AGM,\n<\/p>\n<p>        (ii)    Shri Rakesh Gupta, Chief Manager,\n<\/p>\n<p>        (iii)   Shri Rajeev, Manager (Law)<\/p>\n<p>        The brief facts of the case are as under.\n<\/p>\n<p>2.      The Appellant had requested the CPIO, in his application dated July<br \/>\n10, 2008, for a number of information regarding the transfer policy followed<br \/>\nby the Bank in the Delhi Centre for transfer of the Award staff. The CPIO<br \/>\nbelatedly, on September 2008, provided partial information. Not satisfied<br \/>\nwith his reply, the Appellant approached the first Appellate Authority on<br \/>\nOctober 14, 2008. The Appellate Authority disposed of the appeal in his<br \/>\norder dated November 6, 2008 by endorsing the decision\/reply of the CPIO.<br \/>\nIt is against this order that the Appellant has come before the Central<br \/>\nInformation Commission in second appeal.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.      The Appellant was not present in spite of notice. The Respondents<br \/>\nwere present and submitted that the CPIO had provided as much<br \/>\ninformation as available against these queries. We carefully examined the<br \/>\nreply of the CPIO and find that he did not cover all of the Appellant&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>CIC\/SM\/A\/2009\/000291<br \/>\n queries and needs to respond to some of the remaining queries. Therefore,<br \/>\nwe direct him to provide to the Appellant within 10 working days from the<br \/>\nreceipt of this order, the following pieces of information:-\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>     (i)       extracts of the policy guideline\/circular of the Bank, if any,<br \/>\n               according to which the Executive members of Award Staff Union<br \/>\n               at the level of Delhi Centre are exempted from the application of<br \/>\n               the general policy on transfer; and<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>     (ii)      the names of those Award staff\/ employees in Delhi Centre whose<br \/>\n               combined stay at one or more places within the Centre has<br \/>\n               exceeded five years; and the copy of the approval, if any, from<br \/>\n               the competent authority for allowing such overstay.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>4.          Besides, we also direct the CPIO to explain in writing within 15<br \/>\nworking days from the receipt of this order, the circumstances in which he<br \/>\nfailed to respond to the request for information within the stipulated period<br \/>\nof 30 days. He may please note that if we do not receive any satisfactory<br \/>\nreply on time, we will proceed to decide on the imposition of penalty on<br \/>\nhim as per the provisions of Section 20 of the Right to Information (RTI) Act.<br \/>\nHowever, he is free to indicate whether he would like to have a personal<br \/>\nhearing on the subject.\n<\/p>\n<p>5.          With the above direction, the appeal is disposed off.\n<\/p>\n<p>6.
