The last battle was fought by the Great sons of our country in Plassey which is in the district of Nadia in West Bengal. <\/p>\n<p>Murshidabad also developed as a tourist attraction and nearly 15 lakh people visit Murshidabad yearly of which a sizeable number are foreign tourists. But there is no satisfactory transport system from the State capital, i.e. Kolkata in day time. Murshidabad is nearly 200 km. from Kolkata in Sealdah Division of Eastern Railway \u00e2\u0080\u0093 Sealdah Lalgola route.
