Justice P.BHAVADASAN\n\n Dated :29\/07\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n               P.R.RAMAN &amp; P.BHAVADASAN, JJ.\n\n                    -------------------------------\n\n                     W.P.(C) No.19318 of 2009\n\n                    -------------------------------\n\n                   Dated this the 29th July, 2009\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>Raman, J.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>              This writ petition is filed alleging police harassment.<\/p>\n<p>We have granted an interim direction not to evict the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>forcibly, for a period of two weeks.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>              2. It is submitted by the learned Government<\/p>\n<p>Pleader that the police is now acting on the basis of an order<\/p>\n<p>passed by the District Collector.       If so, unless that order is<\/p>\n<p>challenged in accordance with law, and so long as the same is in<\/p>\n<p>force, it cannot be said that there is any harassment as such.<\/p>\n<p>              However, the learned counsel appearing for the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner seeks permission to challenge the order passed by the<\/p>\n<p>District Collector.  No such permission         is required, if he is<\/p>\n<p>otherwise entitled to.
