{"id":129710,"date":"2005-08-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2005-08-28T18:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/judgments\/need-to-set-up-a-permanent-bench-of-kerala-high-court-at-trivandrum-on-29-august-2005"},"modified":"2016-02-28T08:05:22","modified_gmt":"2016-02-28T02:35:22","slug":"need-to-set-up-a-permanent-bench-of-kerala-high-court-at-trivandrum-on-29-august-2005","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/judgments\/need-to-set-up-a-permanent-bench-of-kerala-high-court-at-trivandrum-on-29-august-2005","title":{"rendered":"Need To Set Up A Permanent Bench Of Kerala High Court At Trivandrum. on 29 August, 2005"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"docsource_main\">Lok Sabha Debates<\/div>\n<div class=\"doc_title\">Need To Set Up A Permanent Bench Of Kerala High Court At Trivandrum. on 29 August, 2005<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<pre><\/pre>\n<p>                                          &gt; <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=Title%20\">Title <\/a>: Need to set up a permanent Bench of Kerala High Court at Trivandrum.   <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=SHRI%20VARKALA%20RADHAKRISHNAN%20\">SHRI VARKALA RADHAKRISHNAN <\/a>(<a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=CHIRAYINKIL\">CHIRAYINKIL<\/a>): Madam, the Kerala Legislative Assembly had unanimously passed a Resolution requesting the Central Government to establish a Bench of the Kerala High Court at Trivandrum.\u00a0 The Bench was functioning there long before but it was stopped due to a direction from the Chief Justice.\u00a0 Now, the Chief Minister of Kerala has also written to the Central Government towards the establishment of a Bench at Trivandrum.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>Trivandrum is the only State capital where there is no Bench of the High Court.\u00a0 It may be pointed out that in Tamil Nadu and in Karnataka different Benches were sanctioned \u2013 one Bench at Madurai of the Madras High Court and one Bench at Hubli of the Karnataka High Court.\u00a0 That was done by the Central Government with their sanction.\u00a0 So, it is only just and proper that a Bench of the Kerala High Court be established at Trivandrum.\u00a0 It is only a revival.\u00a0 The Bench was functioning there earlier.\u00a0 There is no further financial commitment.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0  <\/p>\n<p>So, I would request the Central Government to consider it seriously and issue orders.\u00a0It is because the Kerala Government is ready to meet all the expenses.\u00a0 My humble submission and my demand to the Central Government is to take immediate steps towards the establishment of a Bench of the High Court at Trivandrum.\u00a0 By doing so, the Central Government is not having any financial commitment.\u00a0 So, I think, they will take immediate steps towards the request of the Kerala Assembly as well as the Government.\n<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"marker_ref\" href=\"\/search\/?formInput=%E0%A4%B8%E0%A4%AD%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%AA%E0%A4%A4%E0%A4%BF%20%E0%A4%AE%E0%A4%B9%E0%A5%8B%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%AF%E0%A4%BE%20\">\u0938\u092d\u093e\u092a\u0924\u093f \u092e\u0939\u094b\u0926\u092f\u093e <\/a>: \u0936\u094d\u0930\u0940 \u0915\u093f\u0936\u0928 \u0938\u093f\u0902\u0939 \u0938\u093e\u0902\u0917\u0935\u093e\u0928, \u0906\u092a \u0938\u0902\u0915\u094d\u0937\u0947\u092a \u092e\u0947\u0902 \u0905\u092a\u0928\u0940 \u092c\u093e\u0924 \u0915\u0939\u0947\u0902, \u0915\u094d\u092f\u094b\u0902\u0915\u093f \u0921\u094d\u0930\u093e\u0909\u091f \u092a\u0930 \u0938\u0926\u0928 \u092e\u0947\u0902 \u092a\u0939\u0932\u0947 \u0939\u0940 \u0921\u093f\u0938\u0915\u0936\u0928 \u0939\u094b \u091a\u0941\u0915\u093e \u0939\u0948\u0964<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Need To Set Up A Permanent Bench Of Kerala High Court At Trivandrum. on 29 August, 2005 &gt; Title : Need to set up a permanent Bench of Kerala High Court at Trivandrum.
