No one appears on behalf of the petitioners.<\/p>\n<p>                                   Two petitioners, while invoking inherent jurisdiction<\/p>\n<p>                       of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal<\/p>\n<p>                       Procedure, have prayed for quashing of the order dated 8.1.2007<\/p>\n<p>                       passed by S.D.J.M., Chapra in Complaint Case No.2476 of 2005<\/p>\n<p>                       whereby the learned Magistrate has taken cognizance of the<\/p>\n<p>                       offences under Sections 498(A) and 323 of the Indian Penal Code<\/p>\n<p>                       and directed to issue process to secure the attendance of the<\/p>\n<p>                       accused persons including both the petitioners.<\/p>\n<p>                                   On perusal of the record, it transpires that petitioner<\/p>\n<p>                       no.1 Sushma Devi was mother-in-law and petitioner no.2 Prabhu<\/p>\n<p>                       Niranjan Kumar Gupta was father-in-law of the complainant. On<\/p>\n<p>                       perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the learned<\/p>\n<p>                       Magistrate, after conducting enquiry, had examined the entire<\/p>\n<p>                       record and assigning a detailed reason had passed the order of<\/p>\n<p>                       cognizance. The learned Magistrate, by the impugned order, has<\/p>\n<p>                       not proceeded against some of the accused persons since there<\/p>\n<p>                       were no sufficient material against them. The order of cognizance<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>        is a reasoned order and suffers from no error.\n<\/p>\n<p>                    Accordingly, I do not find any material to exercise<\/p>\n<p>        inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 of the Code<\/p>\n<p>        of Criminal Procedure in favour of the accused persons and the<\/p>\n<p>        petition stands rejected.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<pre>Md.S.
