RAMKUMAR, J.\n                  ....................................................\n                  Bail Application No.7688 of 2010\n                 .....................................................\n            Dated this the 30th day of November, 2010.\n\n                                      ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner, who is the first accused in Crime No.1986\/2010 of<\/p>\n<p>Ernakulam Town North Police Station for offences punishable under<\/p>\n<p>Sections 406 and 420 IPC, seeks her enlargement on bail.                  The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner was arrested on 13.10.2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. The application was opposed on behalf of the prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>      3.    Having regard to the gravity of the offences, nature of the<\/p>\n<p>allegations levelled against the petitioner, the relative conduct of the<\/p>\n<p>parties, the extent of the injury sustained, the propensities of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, the sentiments of the near relatives of the victim and the<\/p>\n<p>other facts and circumstances of the case, I am of the view that if the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is released on bail, she will definitely influence and<\/p>\n<p>intimidate the prosecution witnesses. There is also the likelihood of<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner making herself scarce and fleeing from justice. I am,<\/p>\n<p>therefore, not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.<\/p>\n<p>      This petition is accordingly dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                           V.
