Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :09\/09\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                      ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n                    ================\n                 W.P.(C) NO. 4857 OF 2009 (C)\n                =====================\n\n        Dated this the 9th day of September, 2009\n\n                         J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     Petitioners are rank holders in the ranked list published by<\/p>\n<p>the PSC for Staff Nurses in Kannur District. Their grievance is that<\/p>\n<p>despite the existence of vacancies, without reporting those<\/p>\n<p>vacancies to the PSC, contract appointment is being resorted to.<\/p>\n<p>     2.    If as stated by the petitioners, there is a valid ranked<\/p>\n<p>list and vacancies are available, such vacancies are to be<\/p>\n<p>reported to the PSC.
