Further, of this amount how much was given as compensation to the\n       victims of the 1984 riots. Zone wise details be provided.\n   6) Appellant being a victim of the 1984 riots seeks relaxation in the fees for being provided\n       with information as per section 7 (5).\n\nPIO's Reply:\nReply from SDM (VV) dated 10\/11\/2009 stated that no case in respect of 1984 riots is pending\nin Sub division Vasant Vihar. Further , after the FAA's order, information was stated to be\n provided by the Tehsildar (Palam), SDM Najafgarh vide letter dated 15\/12\/2009. However copy\nof information not enclosed by the Appellant.\n\nGrounds for First Appeal:\nUnsatisfactory information received from SDM (VV) vide letter dated 10\/11\/2009.\n\nOrder of the First Appellate Authority:\nNot enclosed.\n\nGrounds for Second Appeal:\nAggrieved by claims of having sent the information made by the O\/o of SDM , Najafgarh during\nthe First Appeal hearing. Further, information provided is unsatisfactory and it is alleged that the\nsuo moto disclosure of such information on the official website as required by the Appellant is\nnot complied with.\n\nRelevant Facts<\/pre>\n

Respondent: Mr. R.N. Kaushik, Naib Tehsildar on behalf of Mr. Rajiv Shukla PIO & SDM;\n<\/p>\n
        The PIO has given the list of two deceased persons and 19 injured persons whose
\napplication have been rejected by standing committee out of those who have applied for
\nadditional compensation. The Respondent states that some other claimants name may have been
\nrejected recently in the second standing committee meeting on 13\/02\/2010. The PIO is directed
\nto inform the Appellant if any claimant’s names have been rejected in this meeting.\n<\/p>\n
The Divisional Commissioner is directed to put up the names of those claimants who have
\napplied in 2006 and those whose claims are being rejected on the website giving the categories of
\nthe claimants whose claims are for death, injuries, loss of property and commercial loss in
\ndischarge of the Department’s obligation under Section – 4 so that citizens do not have to file
\nRTI application to get these details. This must be done before 15 March 2010.\n<\/p>\n
Decision:\n<\/p>\n
The appeal is allowed.\n<\/p>\n
       The PIO is directed to give the information as mentioned above to the Appellant before
\n25 February 2010.\n<\/p>\n
The Divisional Commissioner is directed to put up the names of those claimants who have
\napplied in 2006 and those whose claims are being rejected on the website giving the categories of
\nthe claimants whose claims are for death, injuries, loss of property and commercial loss in
\ndischarge of the Department’s obligation under Section – 4 so that citizens do not have to file
\nRTI application to get these details. This must be done before 15 March 2010. A compliance
\nreport will be sent to the Commission before 20 March 2010.
\nThis decision is announced in open chamber.\n<\/p>\n
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
\nAny information in compliance with this Order will be provided free of cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.\n<\/p>\n
