3. As could be seen from the evidence on record, the
\ninjuries suffered by the claimant in a motor vehicle<\/p>\n
accident is not in dispute. Having exam_inVed_:ll~the<\/p>\n

4. The appellant is  suffered 40%
\nphysical  ofillowerl li”rnbl’:–and..l:l20% of the whole
\nbody.’.,_ was agriculturist and she
\nlost her ~regu1ar-  to physical disability, she<\/p>\n
soughlt acompensatioin. The injury suffered by the<\/p>\n
. appel]ari.t,,vvhich according to doctor, has caused severe<\/p>\n
physiclallllliinpairment in functioning of the lower limb is<\/p>\n
~V evident\ufb02froni the evidence on record. Due to the said<\/p>\n
   she may not be able to work as agriculturist.<\/p>\n
 Tribunal has awarded Rs.20,000\/\u00ab towards pain<\/p>\n
“and suffering and Rs.10,000\/– towards medical<\/p>\n
R<\/p>\n

\nexpenses. The award towards pain and suffering of<\/p>\n
Rs.20,000\/– is on the lower side, which needs to be
\nenhanced atleast Rs.30,000\/~. The amount awarded for<\/p>\n
medical expenses and incidental charges is based on<\/p>\n
the proof produced by the appellant and <\/p>\n
reasonable. However, learned counsel  appellant, <\/p>\n
rightly points out that no amo:unt_is<\/p>\n
physical disability suffered’ at 40’%__oi” to  <\/p>\n
20% of the whole body. Thottgh Tribfunal has
\nawarded compensation” loss of income,<\/p>\n
but no   “aw’ar:ded towards loss of amenities in
\nlife. Ience undejr._tliis”‘lhead, a reasonable amount of<\/p>\n
 awarded. As regards the future income<\/p>\n
” it  is”l’con-cerneyd, th\u00a2”\ufb01}1?io1e body disability at 20% is taken<\/p>\n
   The Tribunal has chosen the<\/p>\n
m’u._ltip_l’ierAfvwhile awarding the compensation towards<\/p>\n
 loss future earning, which is on the higher side. In<\/p>\n
 of the SaralaVarma’s case, the multiplier ‘ll’ is<\/p>\n
 ” ‘-“applicable. Hence, the amount comes to Rs.79,200\/–<\/p>\n

Hence, Rs.6,000\/- is awarded under   if  <\/p>\n
