Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      Petitioner has approached this Court against harassment at<\/p>\n<p>the hands of the first respondent. Briefly put, the case of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is as follows:\n<\/p>\n<p>      Petitioner is engaged in social activities and in connection<\/p>\n<p>with the same, he had to approach the first respondent, Sub<\/p>\n<p>Inspector of Police frequently. There was illegal detention of<\/p>\n<p>the colleagues of the petitioner by the first respondent.<\/p>\n<p>Petitioner intervened in the matter. The first respondent did not<\/p>\n<p>like the intervention and he used to behave in a most indecent<\/p>\n<p>manner and started to abuse the petitioner in a filthy language. It<\/p>\n<p>is stated that recently, while the petitioner was standing in front<\/p>\n<p>of his house, the first respondent who was on patrolling duty,<\/p>\n<p>suddenly stopped his jeep in front of the house of the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>and asked him to appear before the police station, without any<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC.5394\/2010 Y                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>sufficient reason.   Petitioner has been directed to appear on<\/p>\n<p>10.02.2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. Learned Government Pleader on instructions submits<\/p>\n<p>that the petitioner was called in connection with investigation<\/p>\n<p>into the whereabouts of some anti-social elements.        It is<\/p>\n<p>submitted that the petitioner will not be called to the police<\/p>\n<p>station by the first respondent or harass the petitioner.
