Justice R.BASANT\n\n Dated :17\/12\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                               R.BASANT, J\n                       ------------------------------------\n                      Crl.M.C.No.3770 of 2007\n                       -------------------------------------\n              Dated this the 17th day of December, 2007\n\n                                 O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner is arrested and detained as an accused in Crime<\/p>\n<p>No.586 of 2007 of Kottiyam Police Station. He has remained in<\/p>\n<p>custody from 01.12.07. He now has information that a notice<\/p>\n<p>has been received at his residence calling upon him to appear for<\/p>\n<p>an interview on 18.12.07 at 11 a.m at Government College,<\/p>\n<p>Malappuram. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that<\/p>\n<p>if the young offender is not permitted to appear in the said<\/p>\n<p>interview, great prejudice and loss will result.              It is therefore<\/p>\n<p>prayed that there may be a direction to the 2nd respondent to<\/p>\n<p>permit the petitioner to appear for the said interview.<\/p>\n<p>      2.    It looks to me that the request has come too late.<\/p>\n<p>However, the learned Public Prosecutor submits that everything<\/p>\n<p>possible shall be done to make it possible within the limited time<\/p>\n<p>available, to permit the petitioner to appear for the interview.<\/p>\n<p>      3.    This Crl.M.C is accordingly allowed. There shall be a<\/p>\n<p>direction to the 2nd respondent, Superintendent of Prison, Kollam<\/p>\n<p>District Jail to permit the petitioner to appear for the interview to<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">Crl.M.C.No.3770 of 2007        2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>be held at 11 a.m tomorrow (18.12.07) at Government College,<\/p>\n<p>Malappuram under police escort.\n<\/p>\n<p>     4.   The Registry shall communicate the direction to the 2nd<\/p>\n<p>respondent forthwith.\n<\/p>\n<p>     5.   Hand over a copy of this order to the learned Public<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the petitioner.<\/p>\n<p>     6.
