Respondents \n\nPRAYER:  Original Application No.7515 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, praying to direct the respondents to pay interest at 18% per annum on the G.P.F. contributions at Rs.89,003\/- from 01.08.1996 to 10.07.1998 and interest on the said interest thereafter at 18%. Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition. \n\t\t     For Petitioner     :  Mr.L.Chandra Kumar\t\t\t\t\t\t    \n\t\t     For Respondents :   Mr.S.Shivashnamugam,\n \t\t\t\t\t\t Government Advocate \n\n\t\t\t\t\tO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\t\tOriginal Application No.7515 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, praying to direct the respondents to pay interest at 18% per annum on the G.P.F. contributions at Rs.89,003\/- from 01.08.1996 to 10.07.1998 and interest on the said interest thereafter at 18%. Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t2.The grievance of the petitioner has been addressed by way of representation dated 14.7.1998.  If the same has not been disposed of so far, the petitioner is entitled to make further representation to the respondent Department justifying his claim in the light of G.O.Ms.No.517, Finance (Pension) dated 12.6.1987 and other Government orders are applicable.  Such representation shall be considered and disposed of by the respondent Department within three months from the date of receipt of such representation.  This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
