\ncompensation and seeking enhancement “for

 and dashed against the mini lorry, as a result the<\/p>\n

claimant sustained grievous injuries. Hence, he \ufb01led a
\nclaim petition before MACT, Madhugiri seeking<\/p>\n
compensation of Rs,5,00,000\/– and the Trib1:,nal’~–has<\/p>\n
awarded compensation of Rs.1,76,000\/<\/p>\n
at 6% p.a.   <\/p>\n

 “—Clairnant has sustained grievous injuries over left<\/p>\n
 ” kngeelwjoint, on the right thigh, right elbow. Injuries<\/p>\n
 sustained by him are evident from Wound certificate Ex.<\/p>\n

\ncase sheet Ex. P 127 and supported by oral evidence of<\/p>\n
the claimant and the doctor examined as  2<\/p>\n
respectively. He was inpatient in  <\/p>\n
Hospital, Bangalore from 5 P. V<\/p>\n
days. PW 2 Dr. 9. Sathyaroopalhas ps.t-atedi’ th–at-tiie<\/p>\n
claimant sustained 60% tol”ia:pa_rtic1iiar’lirrib 25% to<\/p>\n
whole body.\n<\/p>\n
7. Considermg \u00a7;ii\u00e9 n   Rs.25,000\/–
\nawarded   and suffering is
\n011   \ufb01is’:ides’\u00a3lerVed to be enhanced by
\nanot’her’~ and I award Rs.35,000\/~\u00bb<\/p>\n

   has produced medical bills Ex. P 13 to P<\/p>\n
 ._   P 35 to P 126. The Tribunal without<\/p>\n
dliscuvssi\ufb02lg the same has awarded Rs.25,000\/– towards<\/p>\n
V ” ‘medical and incidental expenses which is on the lower<\/p>\n
 ‘side. He was treated as inpatient for 75 days in the<\/p>\n
P hospital. Considering the same it is just and proper to<\/p>\n

\nX 20% X 12 X 18) and it is awarded as against<\/p>\n
Rs.50,400\/ – awarded by the Tribunal.<\/p>\n
