During the pendency of the writ petition<\/p>\n<p>                   petitioner superannuated while serving on the<\/p>\n<p>                   post of A.S.I. in the Bihar Police. Earlier he had<\/p>\n<p>                   filed this writ petition praying, inter alia, to direct<\/p>\n<p>                   the State-respondents to consider his case for<\/p>\n<p>                   promotion as Sub-Inspector of Police on the<\/p>\n<p>                   ground that his junior colleagues have been so<\/p>\n<p>                   promoted    with    effect     from      20.8.1994.   Such<\/p>\n<p>                   statement has been made in paragraph 5 of the<\/p>\n<p>                   writ petition. The writ petition, however, does not<\/p>\n<p>                   disclose the name of the junior colleagues who<\/p>\n<p>                   have been promoted as Sub-Inspector of Police<\/p>\n<p>                   with effect from 20.8.1994.\n<\/p>\n<p>                            In the circumstances, I dispose of the writ<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                              2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>         petition     directing   the    petitioner   to   file    a<\/p>\n<p>         representation before the Director General-cum-<\/p>\n<p>         Inspector General of Police, Bihar giving the<\/p>\n<p>         names of his junior colleagues who have been<\/p>\n<p>         promoted as Sub-Inspector of Police with effect<\/p>\n<p>         from       20.08.1994.    The      representation        for<\/p>\n<p>         promotion filed in compliance of this order be<\/p>\n<p>         considered and disposed of by the Director<\/p>\n<p>         General-cum-Inspector General of Police, Bihar in<\/p>\n<p>         accordance with law, as early as possible, in any<\/p>\n<p>         case within a period of two months from the date<\/p>\n<p>         of receipt of the representation along with a copy<\/p>\n<p>         of this order.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<pre>P.K.P.
