Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :27\/05\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                      ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n                     ================\n                 W.P.(C) NO. 14457 OF 2009 (B)\n                =====================\n\n             Dated this the 27th day of May, 2009\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioners have availed of agricultural loans from the 1st<\/p>\n<p>respondent Bank. It is stated that amounts are in default and<\/p>\n<p>while so, the Government of India announced Agricultural Debt<\/p>\n<p>Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme, 2008, a copy of which is Ext.P1.<\/p>\n<p>Petitioners say that they have submitted applications for the<\/p>\n<p>benefit of Ext.P1. According to the petitioners, although their<\/p>\n<p>cases have been recommended by the 2nd respondent, final<\/p>\n<p>orders allowing the benefit has not been passed by the 1st<\/p>\n<p>respondent so far.      In these circumstances they have filed<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P11, a joint petition before the 1st respondent and even on<\/p>\n<p>that representation, there has not been any response. It is in<\/p>\n<p>these circumstances, the writ petition is filed.<\/p>\n<p>      Thus, it is obvious that the claim of the petitioners for the<\/p>\n<p>benefit of Ext.P1 waiver scheme referred to above is still pending<\/p>\n<p>consideration of the respondents. In view of this, I dispose of this<\/p>\n<p>writ petition directing respondents 1 and 2 to decide on Ext.P11.<\/p>\n<p>WPC 14457\/09<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                :2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This shall be done, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within<\/p>\n<p>6 weeks of production of a copy of this judgment along with a<\/p>\n<p>copy of this writ petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                      ANTONY DOMINIC, JUDGE<br \/>\nRp<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court K.K.
