Justice R.BASANT\n\n Dated :27\/05\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                              R.BASANT, J\n                      ------------------------------------\n                     Crl.M.C No.1929 of 2008\n                      -------------------------------------\n                Dated this the 27th day of May, 2008\n\n                                  ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>     Petitioner faces indictment in a prosecution under the<\/p>\n<p>provisions   of   the   Standards           of     Weights     and Measures<\/p>\n<p>(Enforcement) Act, 1985. The petitioner had come to this Court<\/p>\n<p>long earlier in 2000 with a prayer to quash the proceedings and<\/p>\n<p>by order dated 20.12.2000, the said Crl.M.C was dismissed as<\/p>\n<p>withdrawn on the basis of the submission of the petitioner that<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner intends to make a plea of guilty. The petitioner has<\/p>\n<p>now come to this Court with a request that the petitioner wants to<\/p>\n<p>make the plea of guilty and the learned Magistrate is not<\/p>\n<p>permitting him to plead guilty through counsel.                  No order is<\/p>\n<p>produced.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2.    It is for the petitioner to approach the learned<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate and make a request.                  I need only mention that<\/p>\n<p>appropriate orders must be passed by the learned Magistrate.<\/p>\n<p>     3.
