Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :14\/01\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                               ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n\n\n                     = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n                         W.P.(C) No.  1675  OF 2008 Y\n\n                     = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n\n\n                      Dated this the  14 th January, 2008\n\n\n\n                                   J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       Petitioner   had   participated   in   Classical   Music,   Kathakali<\/p>\n<p>Sangeetham   and   Thiruvathira   in   the   District   Higher   Secondary<\/p>\n<p>School Youth Festival.    Aggrieved by the prizes that were awarded,<\/p>\n<p>petitioner filed appeals and those appeals were rejected by Exts. P3<\/p>\n<p>to P5.     It is contended before me that the first prize winner in the<\/p>\n<p>Classical   Music   has   committed    mistake   in   Raga.     It   is   also   stated<\/p>\n<p>that in the Kathakali Sangeetham, the first prize winner had wrongly<\/p>\n<p>chosen   the   song.       It   is   also   argued   that   in   Thiruvathira   the   first<\/p>\n<p>prize winner had committed certain mistakes in the steps  that she<\/p>\n<p>took during the course of performance.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.   These   are   too   technical   matters   and   only   the   judges   can<\/p>\n<p>assess the performance of the rival candidates.  Although the appeal<\/p>\n<p>memos,   in   relation   to   Exts.   P3   to   P5   decisions   rendered   by   the<\/p>\n<p>appeal   committee,   have   not   been   produced   by   the   petitioner,   the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC No. 1675\/08                             -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>appellate   committee   in   its   orders   stated   that   the   assessment   of<\/p>\n<p>performance by the judges is unassailable.   In Exts. P3 and P5, it is<\/p>\n<p>also specifically noted that the judges have noticed the deficiencies<\/p>\n<p>in   the   performance   rendered   by   the   petitioner.
