Taj filed a RTI application with the PIO, MCD, Town Hall, New Delhi- 110006 on<br \/>\n31\/05\/2010. However, on not having received the information within the mandated time, the<br \/>\nComplainant filed a complaint under Section 18 of the RTI Act with the Commission. On this basis, the<br \/>\nCommission issued a notice to the PIO, O\/o Commissioner, MCD, Town Hall, Delhi, on 07\/07\/2010<br \/>\nwith a direction to provide the information to the Complainant and further sought an explanation for not<br \/>\nfurnishing the information within the mandated time.\n<\/p>\n<p>        The Commission received a letter dated 02\/08\/2010 from the APIO &amp; EE (M) IV, Central Zone,<br \/>\nMCD, Road No. 7, Anderwej Gang, New Delhi, wherein it was stated that the initial complaint and the<br \/>\nRTI Application dated 31\/05\/2010 was not received in their office. Further, it was also submitted that<br \/>\nthe MCD did not carry out any developmental works in such unauthorized colonies, which is the subject<br \/>\nmatter of the RTI Application, and works are being carried out by either the DSIIDC or the Flood<br \/>\nControl &amp; Irrigation Deptt.
