RAVINDRAN, J.\n                      -------------------------------\n                       W.P.(C) No.777 of 2011\n                      -------------------------------\n             Dated this the 20th day of January, 2011\n\n                            J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>               The petitioners are ex-service men.       They are the<\/p>\n<p>employees of an organization run by the second respondent which has<\/p>\n<p>entered into a contract with the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. to provide<\/p>\n<p>security services in the installations of BSNL. In this writ petition, the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners challenge Exts.P2, P3 and P4 letters issued by the second<\/p>\n<p>respondent informing them that their services will stand terminated<\/p>\n<p>from 11.1.2011 on their attaining the age of 58 years. The petitioners<\/p>\n<p>also seek a direction to the first respondent to retain them in service<\/p>\n<p>till they attain the age of 60 years.\n<\/p>\n<p>              2. Sri.C.S.Ramanathan, the learned standing counsel<\/p>\n<p>appearing for BSNL submitted that the second respondent has<\/p>\n<p>modified Exts.P2 to P4 orders stating that as per the regulations issued<\/p>\n<p>by the Director General of Resettlement, the retirement age for ex-<\/p>\n<p>service men is 58 years. The learned counsel also submitted with<\/p>\n<p>reference to Ext.P1 that the dispute is between the petitioners and<\/p>\n<p>their employer, the second respondent, and the BSNL is not bound to<\/p>\n<p>engage the petitioners, if their employer has terminated their services.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioners are not employees of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>They are employees of the second respondent. If their employer has<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C) No.777 of 2011<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                     2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>terminated their services, their remedy is to raise a dispute and to<\/p>\n<p>have the same resolved under the provisions of the Industrial<\/p>\n<p>Disputes Act.\n<\/p>\n<p>             In such circumstances, no relief can be granted to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners. The writ petition fails and is accordingly dismissed. It will<\/p>\n<p>be open to the petitioner to challenge the termination of their services<\/p>\n<p>in other appropriate proceedings.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                               P.N.
