Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned<br \/>\nGovernment Advocate appearing for the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The grievance of the petitioner as set out in the affidavit<br \/>\naccompanying the writ petition, is to the effect that the petitioner is in<br \/>\noccupation of agricultural land in S.No.231\/2 measuring 0.77.5 hectares and<br \/>\ncultivating the same for which she approached the second respondent for issuance<br \/>\nof patta, but it evoked no positive response.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In this factual matrix,  the following direction is issued:\n<\/p>\n<p>\tWithout in any way deciding as to whether the petitioner is entitled to<br \/>\npatta or not, I would like to direct the respondents to consider the<br \/>\npetitioner&#8217;s representation dated 21.07.2008 and dispose of the same on merits<br \/>\nand in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt<br \/>\nof a copy of this order after giving due opportunity of being heard to the<br \/>\npetitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
