Respondents\n \nPrayer:\n\tWrit petition came to be numbered by transfer of O.A.No.9860 of 1998 on the file of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction in the nature of a Writ, directing the respondents to confer selection grade to the applicant and consequence scale of pay with effect from 19.4.1980 (his date of promotion as Sub Inspector of Police Armed Reserve).\n\n\tFor Petitioner\t: Mr.G.Elanchezhiyan  \n\tFor Respondents\t: Mr.B.Vijay, G.A. \n\n\nORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>  \t\tThis writ petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to confer selection grade to the applicant and consequence scale of pay with effect from 19.4.1980 (his date of promotion as Sub Inspector of Police Armed Reserve).\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t2.  The petitioner seeks the relief of selection grade and consequential scale of pay.  It is admitted in the original application that a representation  has been made on 13.1.1998 to the Director General of Police\/ second respondent herein and that has not been disposed of .\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t3.  The learned counsel for the petitioner pleads that the petitioner may be allowed to make a fresh representation and the second respondent may be directed to consider and dispose of  the same together with the earlier representation.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t4.  Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, if the petitioner has any grievance as on today, he is entitled to make further representation in this regard and the second respondent  shall consider the earlier representation together with the present representation as and when made and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such representation.  This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
