Respondents. \n\n\nPrayer: Petition filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents particularly the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner, dated 30.6.2008, 22.2.2010, 14.1.2011, regarding appropriate action to be taken against the fourth respondent for having committed various illegalities, malpractice and misappropriating the Panchayat fund in executing the eight public works for the period from 25.10.2006 to 30.9.2007. \n\n\t\tFor Petitioner\t  : Mr.S.Vijayan\n\n\t\tFor Respondents    : Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal\n\t\t\t\t\t     Government Advocate \n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\t1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing and disposal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation,dated 14.1.2011, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 14.1.2011, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and to the fourth respondent, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 14.1.2011, to the first respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.<br \/>\n\t\tThe writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions.
