Mr.P.N.Pandidurai,\n\t\t      Addl.Public Prosecutor\n\t\t      for R1 to R5\n\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>(Order of the Court was made by P.MURGESEN, J.)<\/p>\n<p>\tThis Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for a direction to the<br \/>\nrespondents to produce the bodies and persons of the detenus namely, Anitha,<br \/>\naged 20 years, W\/o Veerapandi and Veerasuhasini, aged 2 years, D\/o Veerapandi,<br \/>\nbefore this Court and set them at liberty.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. The petitioner is the mother of the detenue Anitha. She filed this<br \/>\npetition to produce her daughter Anitha and her granddaughter Veerasuhasini,<br \/>\nbefore this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. It is stated in the affidavit filed in support of this HCP that the<br \/>\nsixth respondent, who is the brother of the petitioner, married the detenue<br \/>\nAnitha on 25.03.2007. It is also stated that the sixth respondent is a<br \/>\nGovernment Veterinary Doctor and he already married the seventh respondent, who<br \/>\nis also a Veterinary Doctor and the detenue Anitha is the second wife of the<br \/>\nsixth respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. Today, the petitioner as well as the detenus have appeared before this<br \/>\nCourt. The detenue Anitha said that the seventh respondent took her to an Ashram<br \/>\nand she was deposited there and that she is now willing to go with her mother.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. Recording the statement made by the detenue Anitha, the detenus are set<br \/>\nat liberty. Accordingly this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. Consequently,<br \/>\nM.P.(MD)No.1 of 2010 is also closed.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t6.
