Respondents.\n\n\n\nPrayer: This petition has been filed seeking for a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent and the second respondent to enforce the certificate under Revenue Recovery Act against the third respondent, dated 28.9.2001 in collecting the balance interest amount of Gratuity to the petitioner ordered in Gratuity Case No.221\/2000 by the Assistant Commissioner of Labour (Graduity), dated 2.2.2001. \n\n\n\n\n\t\tFor Petitioner\t  : Mr.N.Amarnath\n\n\t\tFor Respondents   : Mr.D.Geetha \n\t\t\t\t\t    Additional Government Pleader (R1 &amp; R2)\n\n\t\t\t\t\t   Mr.K.G.Vasudevan (R3)\n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. Though the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.12.2002, is directed to be disposed of by the first respondent, on merits, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, without going into the merits of case, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 18.12.2002, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if it has not been disposed of till date. The petitioner is directed to furnish to the first respondent a copy of the representation, dated 18.12.2002, along with a copy of this order.<br \/>\n\tThe writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
