When he came<\/p>\n<p>to know of      a vacancy at Thiruvananthapuram, he made an<\/p>\n<p>application for the same on 23.2.2007.            The same was not<\/p>\n<p>considered.    When he came to know of a vacancy in Vellanad<\/p>\n<p>Block, again he submitted an application as per Exhibit-P3.<\/p>\n<p>Since   the petitioner&#8217;s     request     was not    considered,  he<\/p>\n<p>approached this Court in W.P. (C) No.25994\/2007.               The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner&#8217;s request was directed to be considered in terms of<\/p>\n<p>the norms. Petitioner&#8217;s request has been rejected under Exhibit-<\/p>\n<p>P5.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.   Mr. B.S.Swathi Kumar, learned counsel for the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner submits that the only reason stated in &#8216;Exhibit-P5 to<\/p>\n<p>reject the petitioner&#8217;s request is that he is due to retire only on<\/p>\n<p>31.5.2019 and that he has completed only 10 months of duty at<\/p>\n<p>ITDP,Attapady.    He also submits that there is no consideration<\/p>\n<p>in terms of Exhibit-P4.\n<\/p>\n<p>W.P ( C) No. 34413   of 2007<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      3.   In my view, it is proper for the petitioner to move the<\/p>\n<p>Government for considering his request for a posting in<\/p>\n<p>Trivandrum in terms of Exhibit-P4. The petitioner may make<\/p>\n<p>such request, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy<\/p>\n<p>of this judgment.
