Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :24\/08\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                    ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n                   ===============\n                 W.P.(C) NO. 26028 OF 2007\n               ====================\n\n           Dated this the 24th day of August, 2007\n\n                       J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     Petitioner is a Motor Vehicle Inspector, who wanted to<\/p>\n<p>get his date of birth corrected.    It is stated that he had<\/p>\n<p>made Ext.P1 application on 28\/11\/1992, much before the<\/p>\n<p>date of birth was corrected in the SSLC Book. It was only<\/p>\n<p>by Ext.P7, that in 1997, correction in the SSLC Book was<\/p>\n<p>carried out, pursuant to the orders that were passed in his<\/p>\n<p>favour   by   the   Joint  Commissioner     for   Government<\/p>\n<p>Examinations. Thereafter, the corrected SSLC Book was<\/p>\n<p>produced to correct the date of birth in service records. This<\/p>\n<p>was rejected by Exhibits P10, P12 and P14.<\/p>\n<p>     Admittedly, by the time he had applied with the<\/p>\n<p>corrected SSLC Book in 1997, the time limit specified by the<\/p>\n<p>WPC 26028\/07<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                           : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Government in GO(P) No.45\/91\/P&amp;ARD dated 30.12.1991<\/p>\n<p>had expired.
