Joseph, J.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>      Petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following<\/p>\n<p>relief:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>             &#8220;I. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus<\/p>\n<p>       commanding respondents 4, 5 and 6 to afford<\/p>\n<p>       adequate and effective police protection to the<\/p>\n<p>       petitioner for removing ordinary earth from his<\/p>\n<p>       property for the purpose of tsunami rehabilitation<\/p>\n<p>       scheme, as permitted in Ext.P2 by the District<\/p>\n<p>       Collector, Thrissur in the event of any obstruction<\/p>\n<p>       from respondents 7 onwards.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>      2. Counter Affidavit has been filed by respondents 7 to 9,<\/p>\n<p>11 and 12. Therein they have, inter alia, produced Ext.R9(i)<\/p>\n<p>issued by the Additional Tahsildar issuing a stop memo,<\/p>\n<p>addressed to the Village Officer. We notice that the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>has filed Ext.P5 before the District Collector as against the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC.17394\/2010 Y                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>same. In the light of this, as things stand, the petitioner cannot<\/p>\n<p>claim any relief in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, we close the<\/p>\n<p>Writ Petition without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to<\/p>\n<p>approach this Court again.<\/p>\n<p>                                                     Sd\/=<br \/>\n                                              K.M.
