                IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT PATNA\n                           Cr.Misc. No.33117 of 2010\n                               ANOJ KUMAR\n                                     Versus\n                            THE STATE OF BIHAR\n                                    -----------\n<\/pre>\n
3.   20.09.2010               This is a petition for extension of period for<\/p>\n
                    surrendering before the court below for filing bail bond vide this<\/p>\n
                    Court’s order dated 9th May 2008 passed in Cr.Misc.No. 54688 of<\/p>\n
                    2007whereby the petitioner was allowed anticipatory bail with a<\/p>\n
                    direction to surrender before the court below within 4 weeks and<\/p>\n
                    to file bail bond there.\n<\/p>\n
                                 It is clear that for a period exceeding 2 years,<\/p>\n
                    petitioner did not file his bail bond before the court below nor he<\/p>\n
                    even took any care for making a prayer for extension of time by<\/p>\n
                    applying before this Court within a reasonable period. The prayer<\/p>\n
                    is sought to be supported with Annexure-2 which is photocopy of<\/p>\n
                    a certificate granted by one Dr.Subodh Kumar Singh, Skin<\/p>\n
                    Specialist who states that the petitioner was under his treatment<\/p>\n
                    with respect to hansoms disease i.e. leprosy from 28th April 2008<\/p>\n
                    to 30th July 2010 and that now he is free from disease and he can<\/p>\n
                    work and move. The certificate describes in a most generalized<\/p>\n
                    manner and it does not mention the specific part of the body and<\/p>\n
                    the extent of the disease.\n<\/p>\n
                              The petition has been moved with great laches and delay<\/p>\n
                    and, therefore, I do not find it a fit case for extension of time.<\/p>\n
                              This petition is, accordingly, dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
