RAMKUMAR, J.\n                       ===============================\n                       Bail Application No.1698 of 2010\n                       ===============================\n                            DATED: 24.03.2010\n\n                                  O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>       Petitioner who is the accused in Crime No.186 of 2010 of Kasaragod<\/p>\n<p>Police Station for offences punishable under Secs.143,147,148,341 and<\/p>\n<p>326 read with 149I.P.C., seeks anticipatory bail.<\/p>\n<p>       2.     The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the application.<\/p>\n<p>       3.      Anticipatory bail cannot be granted in a case of this nature.<\/p>\n<p>But at the same time, I am inclined to permit the petitioner to surrender<\/p>\n<p>before the Investigating Officer for the purpose of interrogation and then to<\/p>\n<p>have his application for bail considered by the Magistrate            having<\/p>\n<p>jurisdiction.   Accordingly, the petitioner shall surrender before the<\/p>\n<p>investigating officer on 05.04.10 or on        06.04.10 for the purpose of<\/p>\n<p>interrogation and recovery of incriminating material, if any.
