NO. 24483 OF 2007\n                               ---------------------\n                   Dated this the 13th day of August, 2007\n\n                              J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Though learned counsel for the petitioner has raised several<\/p>\n<p>contentions in support of his plea to quash Ext.P1 order of suspension<\/p>\n<p>issued against the petitioner by the Government, I do not propose to deal<\/p>\n<p>with any of those contentions in view of the limited prayer made by the<\/p>\n<p>learned counsel for the petitioner at the Bar. He submits that petitioner will<\/p>\n<p>be satisfied if an appropriate direction is issued to respondent No.1 to take<\/p>\n<p>a decision on Ext.P8 reserving the right of the petitioner to urge all his<\/p>\n<p>contentions before the said authority.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Therefore the writ petition is closed with a direction to respondent<\/p>\n<p>No.1 to consider and pass orders on Ext.P8 strictly on its merit and in<\/p>\n<p>accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two<\/p>\n<p>months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Needless to<\/p>\n<p>mention, respondent No.1 shall ensure that petitioner is afforded sufficient<\/p>\n<p>opportunity to be heard before any decision is taken in the matter. It is<\/p>\n<p>made clear that I have not considered the merit of any of the contentions<\/p>\n<p>raised by the petitioner in the writ petition. It will be open to the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>to urge all his contentions before respondent No.1.<\/p>\n<p>                                                        A.K.
