KURIAKOSE, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>                    &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-\n<\/p>\n<p>                      W.P.(C) NO. 1683 of 2008\n<\/p>\n<p>                    &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-\n<\/p>\n<pre>            Dated this the 14th     day of January , 2008\n\n\n                              JUDGMENT\n\n\n\n\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Under challenge, in this writ petition filed by the owner of a<\/p>\n<p>cinema house within the area of the respondent Panchayat, is Ext.P1<\/p>\n<p>order by which the petitioner has been directed to stop the running of<\/p>\n<p>the theatre immediately on the ground that there has been some foul<\/p>\n<p>play   in the matter of issuance of tickets.        Ext.P1 order of the<\/p>\n<p>Secretary is appealable under the statute.<\/p>\n<p>      2. I dispose of this writ petition relegating the petitioner to his<\/p>\n<p>statutory remedy by way of appeal. However, considering the facts<\/p>\n<p>and circumstances attending in this case, there will be a further<\/p>\n<p>direction to the respondent to permit the petitioner to run his cinema<\/p>\n<p>theatre for a period of three more weeks from today. It is open to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner to obtain extension of this period in the appeal which he<\/p>\n<p>may file before the     Panchayat.    If the   Council of the Panchayat<\/p>\n<p>receives an appeal from the petitioner within seven days from today,<\/p>\n<p>Council will dispose of that appeal at the earliest in accordance with<\/p>\n<p>law i.e. after hearing the petitioner. At any rate orders will be passed<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC No.1683\/2008                     2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>on the application for interim relief immediately.<\/p>\n<p>                                 PIUS C.
